Friendly, happy, affectionate and playful these young Toy Cavoodles are good with other dogs and love everyone!!
They love cuddles and are people orientated.
They are social with other dogs and love meeting new friends however, as Walter is so small he is understandably wary around larger dogs.
As Henry is obsessed with food it is best to keep him away from Walter's dinner - otherwise he will gobble that up too.
Henry is not fond of a bath or the vacuum. Walter is scared of really big dogs.
Their joy and happiness makes people feel very special - their excitement when greeting you is heart warming even if just back from taking the bins out.
They always want to be sitting on or near their humans - there is no such thing as too close for them.
Active singles or couples home more often than not, looking for companion dogs to spoil and cherish.
They can cope alone but why should they have to when they love people so much? Hence, no full time workers please.
They need to be the only pets in the home so they can have all the attention.
Henry doesn't like being rough housed by small, loud kids - he either tries to steal their food or hide away from the chaos. Walter is very gentle and fine around kids, however best not to be in a home with permanent small children for Henry's sake.
They will not suit homes where people live in very close proximity to each other with small outside areas e.g. villas, units, apartment complexes, terrace houses, strata complexes etc.
As the dogs are people orientated they need to be part of family activities.
They will not suit homes with residents that are:
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Will alert to something strange but are not currently nuisance barkers.
Henry and Walter will suit any of the following:
Henry may nibble on shoes if no one is looking.
Medium - playful and moderately active.
Both love a walk - its their favourite activity. However, they also play together around the house too.
When ON a lead ...
Like most dogs they start off pulling but settle.
When OFF a lead ...
They don't have consistent recall and no road sense. Walter will also chase birds and loose track how far he has gone!! Hence, best to keep them on a lead or off lead in an enclosed area.
