Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
Affectionate, loyal, good with other dogs and great with kids. They are not needy but do enjoy the company of their human family.
Further testimony to their lovely temperament is that they have been fine with cats plus free range ducks and chickens however, as this was a little while ago we recommend homes without these animals as a precaution.
They are not defensive around food and will share their toys. Young kids can even walk them on a lead once the dogs have settled.
They both really enjoy water and juicy bones, thriving when part of the family.
A person or couple looking for social dogs to enjoy good times with.
They are ok for full time workers (9am-5pm) as long they have each other, are a central focus when people are home and receive adequate exercise/mental stimulation.
They will not suit homes where people live in very close proximity to each other with small outside areas e.g. villas, units, apartment complexes, terrace houses, strata complexes etc.
As they are people orientated they need to be part of family activities.

As you would expect, Titan may dig holes if he has not had regular exercise.
Medium - playful and moderately active. They enjoy daily walks of around 30 mins.
When ON a lead ...
Like most dogs, Titan starts off pulling but settles.
Millie walks well from the start.
When OFF a lead ...
Usually good but like most dogs, can get distracted.
