More About Me
Ideal Owner
Tia loves company and will suit a home eager to involve her in family activities. She needs regular daily exercise, attention and mental stimulation. She is fine with kids over 7 yrs (still jumps) and with another permanent friendly dog. Will not suit homes with residents that are very young, frail, elderly, renters or time poor. Exercise Requirements Medium - playful and moderately active (can miss a daily walk). When ON a lead ... As is normal she starts off pulling but settles. When OFF a lead ... Sometimes good and sometimes bad. Type of Yard Required Tia requires a medium to large interesting and secure yard or even acreage. As is expected with a dog this age she may chew or dig if left alone without mental stimulation for long periods. |
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Tia barks but can be commanded to stop. She currently barks when alone but this is expected to improve with the right amount of exercise and interaction with family. She prefers company of people but can cope alone during the day. She will be ok with full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as she is a central focus when the family is home. Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks Tia is very affectionate, loves company and enjoys chasing a ball at the park. She is friendly, loyal and has a lovely temperament. Tia needs regular exercise and interaction with her family to be a happy dog. |
