Snoopy is a big, beautiful dog that loves everyone. He is affectionate, loyal and low maintenance. He will accompany you on adventures to the park and be equally happy watching TV by your side or following you around the garden. Snoopy is not a needy dog but does love affection. His owners have looked after and cherished him but are funding the pressures of a young family have left Snoopy with little attention.
As Snoopy is an active, playful and happy boy he will be best suited in a home wanting a dog to be involved with family activities. He would love the company of someone who is home more often then not including active retirees or a stay at home parent.
Snoopy will not suit homes where residents are young, frail, elderly, renters or time poor.
Yes. However, as he is active and playful and rather large we recommend any kids be primary school age or older and only if gentle and calm around dogs.
Snoopy is active and playful and loves going for daily walks but will forgive you if you miss a day.
How is this dog on a lead?
Like most dogs he starts off pulling but settles down.
How is this dog off the lead?
Snoopy stays close by and comes when called.
No. He may wander off if a gate is left open but tends not to go too far.
Snoopy is rather quiet but may alert you to something strange. He likes to stand up on his back legs on the verandah and look out at the dogs and their owners passing by but only says 'hello'' to a few - he doesn't continually bark.
Snoopy may dig if bored or left alone for extended periods.
Tolerance to being alone.
Snoopy loves a good adventure so will enjoy accompanying you where ever you go but is also content to sit by your side watching TV or keep you company while gardening. Snoopy loves people and will make a wonderful companion.
