Loyal, loveable, happy, friendly, good with dogs, cats and kids - these two adorable labradors tick all the boxes. No wonder Labradors are so popular and sort after.
Labrador's are truely 'mans best friend' and are happiest when engaged in family activities. Easy to train, a typical labrador will exhibit puppy-like behaviour well into adulthood.
Ollie and Teddy enjoy walks and running with other dogs. They absolutely love the water too - beach, river, hose you name it. Ollie dislikes Vacuum cleaners.
Singles or couples with plenty of time on their hands seeking two affectionate, playful labradors as companions.
This bonded pair are devoted to each other - as they have each other for company they are ok alone during the day. However, preference will be given to homes where they are not alone for extended periods because they simply enjoy human company. Why simply exist when they can live?
As Ollie and Teddy are over weight their new owner will need to commit to a weight loss regime over a safe period of time.
While the labradors are tolerant and gentle with kids they don't deserve to be rough housed by excitable young children. Any kids should be 12 years or older and only if gentle and calm around dogs.
These labradors are ok for full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as they are a central focus when people are home.
Ollie and Teddy will not suit homes where people live in very close proximity to each other with small outside areas e.g. villas, units, apartment complexes, terrace houses, strata complexes etc.
As the dogs are people orientated they need to be part of family activities.
The will not suit homes with residents that are:
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Both are usually quiet. Ollie may alert to something strange but is not currently a nuisance barker.
The labradors will suit any of the following:
Medium - playful and moderately active.
When ON a lead ...
Like most dogs the labradors start off pulling but settle.
When OFF a lead ...
Stays close and comes when called.
