More About Me
Ollie would like a home as someone's companion, with a roomy and secure back yard for him to run around in. While he loves kids they should be older as Ollie is strong and sometimes jumps up.
Ollie needs to be the only permanent dog in the home as he can be unpredictable around other dogs.
He is ok for full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as he is a central focus when people are home.
As Ollie is people orientated he needs to be part of family activities.
He will not suit homes with residents that are very young, frail, elderly, renters, novice dog owners or time poor.
Medium - playful and moderately active. He will cope if you miss a day so long as he has a yard to run around and play in.
When ON a lead ...
Like most dogs he starts off pulling but settles.
When OFF a lead ...
Ollie is not let off the lead.
Type of Yard Required
Medium to large interesting and secure. Shoulder height fencing is fine but it should go right into the ground so he can't dig underneath.
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Will alert to something strange but is not currently a nuisance barker.
He will suit any of the following:
Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
Ollie loves people and affection - especially cuddles. He also loves his kong toys.
He can be unpredictable around other dogs so his current owners don't let Ollie off the lead.
Ollie is very clever, learns quickly, is very cuddly and obedient.
