Yes. Logan is really friendly, social and playful.
Yes. Logan has lived with 2 cats and has been curious and playful. We always recommend caution though.
Yes. Ducks, sea birds, smaller dogs. Logan has been fine with them.
Yes but he might accidentally knock one over. We recommend any kids be teenagers or older.
Medium - playful and energetic. Logan is a young boy who loves to run and play. If he is taken for a good run once a day he is settled and content. You can’t afford to miss a day.
How is this dog on a lead?
He is usually ok unless he sees something exciting and then is hard to manage. He would definitely pull a small child over.
How is this dog off the lead?
Will stay close by and come when called. Logan loves to run and run but will come straight back when called.
Nuisance barker or destructive.
Logan will alert you to something strange but is not currently a nuisance barker. As you would expect from a pup he may dig the odd hole and chew the odd shoe, especially if he is bored.
Tolerance to being alone.
Yes. Logan has frequently been left alone during the day and evening with another dog and 2 cats. However, preference will be given to a home where he is not completely alone for long periods of time.
Logan loves his cuddles and attention. He is extremely affectionate. He loves to run and play. He loves the water, ocean, river, pond etc. Logan is a bit greedy and will eat and eat if you let him!
Being ignored – he may fret.
Logan will appeal to many families. But we ask you to self-screen before applying. He will thrive in a home that has plenty of free time to spend with a dog that is playful, active and affectionate. He will also need a good size yard that is secure. As he is very smart he will need plenty of mental stimulation and exercise. Logan loves life and will thrive with lots of people around him who adore him unconditionally with plenty of places to explore and things to do.
He will not suit families who are time poor and looking for a babysitter for their current dog. He will also not suit homes with residents who are very young, frail or with small court yards.
Logan is fairly placid most of the time, but his youthful exuberance still bubbles up at times. He will greet you with a jump and a ‘bop’ on the nose, but as he matures he is learning to curb his excitement. Logan is a really lovely dog - funny, loyal and affectionate. He is also very intelligent and is a quick learner. This is a rare opportunity to adopt a really special boy.
