More About Me
Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
Bailey has a playful, joyful nature. He is gentle, intelligent, and people oriented. The breed is known for chasing after small animals like squirrels, rabbits, and birds so he will need to be kept on a lead.
Bailey enjoys being around his family more than anything else so his new owner should keep in mind he requires lots of love and he is not going to like being left alone for long periods of time (even though he will cope).
He is good around food but can get excited and may then knock a small child over. He is a little larger then the average KCC and may even be part cocker spaniel - but was advertised as a KCC in the pet
He has been prone to having a sensitive tummy but is fine when fed the correct food.
Bailey will appeal to many families but he deserves to have a home ideally suited to his personality and needs. He should not have to compromise.
While he is ok alone he prefers company so needs an owner home more often than not.
A home with another permanent friendly dog of similar age and activity level may be considered however, we would prefer Bailey has all the attention - only dog.
Bailey needs mental stimulation otherwise he might be a little mischievous - as would be expected. His new owner will need to give him time to settle in.
Bailey will not suit homes where people live in very close proximity with court yards e.g. villas or units.
As Bailey is people orientated he needs to be part of family activities.
He will not suit homes with residents that are very young, frail, elderly, renters or time poor.
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Will alert to something strange but is not currently a nuisance barker.
Bailey will suit any of the following:
Medium - playful and moderately active. If you miss a day he will need some play time at home.
When ON a lead ...
Bailey (like almost every other KCC I have ever met) is not good on a lead. Too many interesting things to see and sniff.
When OFF a lead ...
Once again, Bailey is pretty typical of the breed - recall is non existent.

Reason For Rehoming?
Bailey has been well looked after and cherished. This is a regrettable rehoming because he is not getting the attention he thrives on and deserves.
