More About Us
Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
Obedient and loyal, this devoted pair are also friendly, gentle and even tempered.

They enjoy a walk to the park but are just as happy to chill out at home. They are always happy to see their family and will meet them with an enthusiastic greeting that makes anyone feel special.

They are good with other dogs however, Jackson can be wary with medium or large dogs as he was once attacked.

Both dogs are well behaved and neither are destructive.

Jackson loves food, can perform tricks in order to get treats and is well mannered.

Kimmy loves attention and sitting on a lap. Plenty of interactions with humans makes her extremely happy. She is well behaved and very obedient too.

Ideal Owner
Active singles or couples looking for happy, friendly and gentle dogs to love.

They are ok for full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as they are a central focus when people are home.

They prefer the company of their human family but can cope without them as long as they have each other.

While they  are good with kids we recommend homes where any kids are at least teenagers and only if gentle and calm around dogs. No dog deserves to be rough housed or exposed to a loud, chaotic environment.

They will not suit homes where people live in very close proximity to each other with small outside areas e.g. villas, units, apartment complexes, terrace houses, strata complexes etc.

As they are people orientated they need to be part of family activities.

Kimmy and Jackson will not suit homes with residents that are:
  • very young, frail, elderly,
  • renters,
  • novice dog owners or
  • time poor.
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Will alert to something strange but are not currently nuisance barkers.

They will suit any of the following:
  • someone home more often than not.
  • someone that works from home.
  • part time workers.
  • empty nesters.
  • active retirees.
  • full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as they are a central focus when folks are home.

Exercise Requirements
Medium - playful and moderately active.

When ON a lead ...
Like most dogs they start off pulling but settle.

When OFF a lead ...
Recall needs some work.

Type of Yard Required
  • Medium to large interesting and secure.
  • May take advantage of an open gate and wander off but do not usually try and escape.
  • Ok with shoulder height fencing.

Contractural Note
Cannot be separated after adoption in accordance with the Dog Adoption Terms and Conditions. Dog Adoption may ask for updates from time to time.
