More About Me
Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
Harley is loving, low maintenance and easy to love. She likes hanging out with her favourite humans and receiving any type of attention - being touched and patted anywhere on her body is heaven!!
She is generally rather obedient - unless distracted (like most dogs).
Singles or couples with lots of space looking for a happy healthy companion.
She is currently living with another dog however, we recommend she is the only permanent dog in the home so she can have all the attention. She is good with other dogs unless she feels like she needs to protect her owner and can then become a little protective if she is challenged.
Harley prefers someone to be home more often than not but can cope when alone.
Harley will not suit homes where people live in very close proximity to each other with small outside areas e.g. villas, units, apartment complexes, terrace houses, strata complexes etc.
As Harley is people orientated she needs to be part of family activities.
Harley will not suit homes with residents that are:
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Quiet - rarely makes a sound. Does not bark but whines when excited
Harley will suit any of the following:
Low - short strolls or playtime at home. Harley is laid back and happy to wander around the yard or hang out with humans.
When ON a lead ...
Like most dogs Harley starts off pulling but settles.
When OFF a lead ...
Recall is pretty good unless distracted.
