Einstein's Profile

Generally.
This adorable pup is a happy, playful and affectionate little man. And super cute to boot. Einstein is eager to please and will thrive in a home where he receives plenty of attention and involved with the family. Einstein loves to be loved and played with. He is making progress with recall and toilet training but still needs more training.

Ideal home.
Einstein will appeal to many families but he will be best suited in a home actively looking for a companion.
He needs a medium to large secure yard and a family who have the time and inclination to play with and exercise a dog.

He will not suit homes where residents are very young, frail, elderly, time poor or looking for a baby sitter for an existing dog.

Other dogs?
Yes.

Cats?
Yes. He lives with two cats and while he wants to play with him, the cats are not as keen.

Kids?
As Einstein is still a pup he likes to play and still jumps up and on people. We recommend any kids be primary school aged or older and only if gentle and calm with animals.

Size.
11 kgs.

Exercise requirements?
Einstein loves getting out for daily walks. He will forgive you if you miss a day occasionally as long as there is play-time at home.

How is this dog on a lead?
Like most dogs he likes to stop and smell everything but moves on easily. He doesn't pull on the lead.

How is this dog off the lead?
This has never really been tested in public. The one time he did get away he came back when called.

Escape artist?
No however, we recommend a secure yard anyway.

Nuisance barker or destructive?
Einstein will alert you to something strange but generally stops when told to. As you would expect with a pup he may damage things if bored, lonely or left alone for long periods.

Toilet trained?
When in the car he holds on. He is making progress at home but needs more training.

Tolerance to being alone.
Yes.

Likes.
Einstein loves attention from his human family and being played with.

Dislikes.
He doesn’t like being sprayed with water from the hose or being tied up.
