More About Us
Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
Friendly, good with other dogs, well behaved, affectionate and friendly. Does't get much easier.

Being social with other dogs, they love outings and playing with other dogs. They are usually well behaved and friendly - no excessive barking, will sit and wait when instructed and they walk well on the lead.

Both are well socialised.

Beckie loves affection and is motivated by pats, rubs and love. She becomes distressed by storms when outside but is fine when she is inside.

Tayla loves and is motivated by food. She also loves children.

Both dogs love family, attention and being part of family fun.

Ideal Owner
Active singles or couples, perhaps with older kids, looking for 2 well behaved, low maintenance dogs to spoil.

While they would prefer the company of their family, they will cope in homes with full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as they are a central focus when folks are home and have each other for company.

While the dogs are good with kids we recommend homes where any kids are at least teenagers and only if gentle and calm around dogs. No dog deserves to be rough housed or exposed to a loud, chaotic environment.

Beckie and Tayla will not suit homes where people live in close proximity to each other with small outside areas e.g. villas, units, apartment complexes, terrace houses, strata complexes etc.

As Beckie and Tayla are people orientated they need to be part of family activities.

They will not suit homes with residents that are:
  • very young, frail, elderly,
  • renters,
  • novice dog owners
  • looking companions for a current lonely dog or
  • time poor.

Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Beckie will alert to something strange but is not currently a nuisance barker. Tayla is quiet and rarely makes a sound.

Beckie and Tayla will suit any of the following:
  • someone home more often than not.
  • stay at home parent.
  • someone that works from home.
  • part time workers.
  • empty nesters.
  • active retirees.
  • full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as they are a central focus when folks are home and have each other for company.
Dogs are fine at home by themselves - no destructive behaviour or barking

Exercise Requirements
Medium - playful and moderately active. They also like to entertain themselves by playing with each other in the yard.

When ON a lead ...
They are usually well behaved.

When OFF a lead ...
Recall is good unless distracted.

Type of Yard Required
  • Medium to large interesting and secure.
  • Beckie may take advantage of an open gate and wander off but does not usually try and escape.
  • Tayla will dart through an open gate or door and take off.
  • Ok with shoulder height fencing.

Contractural Note
