In order to meet 'Rubble" please complete the Expression of Interest Form.
Rubble is a happy, well adjusted and playful pup. While Rubble is good with dogs and cats he is like almost every other staffy – people orientated.
Rubble is very affectionate, smoochy and enjoys down time on the couch. He is also a good jogging buddy too. He is no trouble at home and very adaptable.
Homes that want a dog to be actively involved with family activities will suit Rubble. People who know staffys understand what a great family dog they can be:- playful, affectionate, loyal and great companions.
He will not suit homes where residents are very young, frail, elderly, time poor, renters or looking for a baby sitter for their current dog who is lonely because the humans are rarely around.
Yes. Even though he has been brought up with a cat - they like to run around the house together - homes without cats are recommended as a precaution.
Yes. As Rubble is still young and excitable we recommend any kids be primary school aged or older and only if gentle and calm around dogs.
Rubble loves to go for a walk and prefers a harness to a lead. He is playful and moderately active. He will forgive you if you miss a day.
How is this dog on a lead?
Like most dogs Rubble starts off pulling but settles down.
How is this dog off the lead?
He tends to take off and won’t come back when called.
No. Regardless, we recommend a medium to large secure and interesting yard.
No although he may alert you if something strange is near the property.
He is pretty good for a young dog but may dig the odd hole if bored. He tends to stick to his chew toys.
Tolerance to being alone.
To be walked, cuddled, sitting on the couch and attention.
Thunder. Seems to have a intolerance to the plant, Wandering Dew.
