More About Me
Ideal Owner
Due to her size we recommend her new owner has experience with the breed. She is ok for full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as she is a central focus when people are home. Shepherds are people orientated and need to be part of family activities. We recommend she is the only permanent dog in the home.
She will not suit homes with residents that are very young, frail, elderly, renters or time poor.

Exercise Requirements
High - will run and run, cannot miss a day. She also likes to play.

When ON a lead ...
Like most dogs she starts off pulling but settles.

When OFF a lead ...
Stays close by and comes when called.

Type of Yard Required
Medium to large interesting and secure.
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Will alert to something strange but is not currently a nuisance barker.
She will suit any of the following:
  • part time workers.
  • full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as she is a central focus when home.

Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
Daniu is a working-line German Shepherd. She is loyal, playful, alert, quick to learn and eager to please. She has always been gentle and friendly to her owners.
She is prone to getting excited and will also benefit with on going training.
