More About Me
Ideal Owner
Django has a lovely nature and is well behaved, obedient, affectionate and compliant. While he is fine with other dogs when out and about he can occasionally object to sharing his owner with another dog. This is why he needs to be the only permanent dog in the home. He needs owners who like to snuggle - he literally just loves to be next to them. His new owners will need to like fresh air and a dog that will be their shadow. Django is ok for full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as he is a central focus when people are home. As he is people orientated he needs to be part of family activities. Django will not suit homes with residents that are very young, frail, elderly, renters or time poor. Exercise Requirements Medium - playful and moderately active (can miss a daily walk). When ON a lead ... Like most dogs he starts off pulling but settles. When OFF a lead ... Stays close by and comes when called. Type of Yard Required Medium to large interesting and secure. |
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Will alert to something strange but is not currently a nuisance barker. He will suit any of the following:
Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks Django is adorable and loving plus very well behaved on and off the lead. He sits calmly and quietly waiting for walks, food, or when chatting with people in the street. While he is usually compliant and gentle, he occasionally objects to sharing his owner with another dog. For this reason he needs to be the only permanent dog in the home - although he is fine with other dogs when out and about. He does not mind being told what to do, as long as he gets a pat for it. He loves to sniff your face when you've been out to see what you've been cheating him out of and not sharing with him. He also loves to throw teddy bears in the air and catch them. |
