More About Me
Likes, Dislikes, Fears, Endearments and Quirks
Daisy is a cuddly, smart and affectionate dog who is already obedient, well behaved and easy to train. She knows the commands hi five, sit, roll, lay down, beg and back up.
She loves belly rubs and raw hides but dislikes laundry baskets.
Daisy will be her owner's shadow and is happiest around people but is ok to be alone as well.
Daisy is a playful, loyal and warm dog who would suit an owner wanting an affectionate dog but one that is not needy.
Daisy would prefer all her owner's attention. Since the arrival of a new baby there has been some mild tension with another dog in the home (being protective) which is why we recommend she is the only permanent dog - but she is fine with other dogs socially.
Daisy is ok for full time workers (9am-5pm) as long as she is a central focus when people are home.
As Daisy is people orientated she needs to be part of family activities.
She will not suit homes with residents that are very young, frail, elderly, renters or time poor.
Tolerance to Being Alone During the Day
Barks but can be commanded to stop.
She will suit any of the following:
Medium - playful and moderately active (can miss a daily walk). Also loves playing fetch.
When ON a lead ...
She is usually well behaved. She will run or walk at your pace and very obedient.
When OFF a lead ...
She is pretty good but doesn’t always come back immediately when called.
Type of Yard Required
Medium to large interesting and secure. Daisy will run out through an open door or gate if inadvertently left open but will come back.
