Gingy's Full Profile - Her Personality in Detail
Yes Gingy is playful and social – she does get a little excited when meeting new friends and may bark and carry on initially.
Yes. Kids love her as much as she loves them. For Gingy’s sake we recommend any kids be teenagers or older and only if gentle and calm.
Medium - playful and energetic. She needs a daily walk.
How is this dog on a lead?
Like most dogs Gingy starts off pulling but settles down nicely. She can get excited if a new doggy friend walks close by.
How is this dog off the lead?
Her carer's have not let her off the lead much but when they have she has stayed close by and come when called.
Nuisance barker or destructive?
She may alert you to something strange and also talks to birds in the yard but is not currently a nuisance barker. If a dog barks at her she will bark back. She is not destructive.
Tolerance to being alone.
Gingy likes playing with balls and going for walks. But by far her most favourite thing is spending time with the humans she loves.
She doesn't like small remote control toys or other small things moving quickly.
Gingy will appeal to many families. Ideally, those who have experience with this breed are best suited.
She would love a secure yard to explore too.
Ideally she will suit homes as an only dog so she can have all the attention she deserves and won't feel overwhelmed. She needs a calm, quiet and gentle environment because she is a gentle little soul.
She will not suit homes with residents who are very young, frail, elderly or time poor.
Gingy is a friendly and active dog who was originally purchased from a breeder. She likes to interact with people and is very affectionate. She will gladly sit next to you on the couch while watching TV or keep you company while gardening.
